Hi, I’m Nick Anderson, Manager of Coastal Bushcare.

Coastal Bushcare was built on years of hands-on experience across bushcare, horticulture, and arboriculture. By bringing these skills together, we’ve created a business that delivers practical, high-quality environmental and vegetation management services for councils, schools, businesses, and community organisations across South Australia.

We’re proud to be a preferred contractor for a number of regional and metropolitan councils, with a reputation built on reliability, strong technical knowledge, and respectful stakeholder relationships.

My background includes many years working in gardening and bushcare, including 4 years as a Biodiversity Lead within local government and roles with the Department of Defence and TAFE SA in South Australia. These roles gave me the opportunity to work across both formal landscape beautification and natural bushland restoration projects. During my time with Defence, I helped transform estate environments through revegetation programs designed to improve both aesthetics and biodiversity outcomes.

My experience in bushland management has also included native seed collection, propagation of indigenous species, and helping establish nursery operations to support long-term restoration projects.
